You don’t have to be underwater to feel like you’re drowning.

Are you AGE 40 OR OVER rebuilding after a layoff, loss, or one of life’s hardest moments? 2nd chances project is a platform built just for you.

The Words That Sparked a Mission

If you were any older they wouldn’t have worked so hard to bring you back to life.

I was only 31 years old at the time. This “drowning” left my family preparing for what doctors said would either be a vegetative version of me or my death.

  • I was found submerged at the bottom of a 9ft deep pool.
  • I was in cardiac arrest for a documented “27” minutes
  • I was defibrillated 10x’s
  • I was intubated and put on brain and body cooling
  • I was in a coma.

Those words, meant to inspire gratitude by my ICU nurse, revealed a painful reality. A reality that the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) identified by authorizing legal claims for age discrimination to be filed as early as 40 years old.

The World Health Organization (WHO) notes: “Ageism… The way we think, feel and act towards others or ourselves based on age is pervasive… And has far-reaching consequences for People’s health [and] wellbeing…”
Evidence that you don’t have to be underwater to know what it feels like to struggle for air.

Finally!

A Platform Where Age Gets The Stage.

2nd Chances Project is a grassroots microbusiness incubator for seasoned workers aged 40 and above who are ready to rebuild, reinvent, and thrive. Designed to turn experience into opportunity, this platform provides free lifetime access to strategic resources, networking, and visibility, ensuring that age is an asset, not a barrier. Whether launching a passion project, monetizing expertise, or starting fresh, members gain the freedom to grow their business as long as they choose, with the ultimate goal of positioning themselves for success—including retirement. As an incubator, 2nd Chances Project not only supports business growth but also helps members build valuable, sustainable, and ready-to-sell ventures. When a business sells, I share in that success by earning a lesser percentage of the sale, ensuring that the platform continues to uplift others on the same journey while fostering a thriving, inclusive entrepreneurial community.
